The government should never give a taxpayers money to anyone to pay for living essentials.

The government should only be allowed to pay for infrastructure costs of the country.

Benevolence should be handled through completely private funding.

1) It’s not their money to give
2) It does not allow a politician to sell their vote
3) It creates accountability because the funding cannot survive without checks and balances
4) Benevolence should be set to move the citizen back into the workforce to provide for family needs

Multi generational government support is slavery.
