Saban comes from the Bill Belichick coaching tree; both of them had fathers who were high school football coaches, which is a big deal (BB comes from the Bill Parcells coaching tree).
Kirby, of course, comes from the Nick Saban coaching tree, and Kirby’s dad was a high school football coach (his mother was a high school English teacher)….great pedigree!
