Since I am working a rare day shift today and wont be home unil 3:00 pm I went ahead and started early.....
Mississippi State is a hard one to theme....I could cook ribs or catfish....But I do ribs all the time and a fish cooking is fairly labor intensive for a night game.....So I thought about the old Mississippi Pot Roast. I started a pork version in the crock pot about 0300 this morning.
Mississippi Pork Roast Sandwiches....With spinach and provolone on sub rolls (like a Philly Italian Pork sammich)
Handcut Fries
Boiled Peanuts
Chips and Dips (including Miss Kim's hot clam dip....We have had that for every game since the natty)
Mississippi Mud Pie

Brown liquor for the win...
