It’s been a month or so since I was excited to watch the midweek game and it’s great to be pulled back in. I have a bad feeling these midweek games are going to have an impact on us come Selection Monday. Hopefully Stricklin has talked to them about the importance of RPI.
Just yesterday I asked in the D1 Baseball Chat if they think 13-17 would be enough and Kendall responded that 13 with a top 25ish RPI should work. I think the RPI will be there at 13 wins, as long as we take care of these midweeks.
2021: 13 wins didn’t cut it but that team won 3 SEC series and an RPI at 38 on selection day.
I believe that we can get to 14 and this weekend is huge. Just glad we get a little appetizer tonight.
