Alabama was in the same boat as UGA with a low cost of living stipend....BAM, problem solved.
They increased their out of state cash stipend to $5400.00, less than $200.00 under Tenn, which is the highest in CFB.
Our leadership was faced with the same problem..pop...fizz. We decided $3700.00 was close enough, let our competition pay $1900.00 more than us, that's how we roll around here.
This is the latest 20 yard IPF folks, not quite good enough, is apparently good enough for our egg headed bean counting jack legs.

So start anteing up.

I actually agree with Helen. This is another example of cost cutting that doesn't help our 'product' or brand. We are the company that creates a great product
and then tries to cut corners by advertising in a newspaper that no one reads.

Probably only time I will agree with you.

Totally agree. Very few of the "movers and shakers" around Athens, GA have a remote understanding or appreciation for marketing, brand promotion or positive spin in media. Not a freaking clue. But they do strut around town with this smug arrogance about how profitable our program is, and none of them are shy about their "business sense" being the pivotal part of making it so profitable, and in their minds, incredibly successful.

Anybody who buys a ticket to a home game or purchases authorized UGA products antes up.
Are we to assume you think letting Tenn hand out $1900.00 more in cash than we do is a good thing ?
I'm not calling for Roman size bathes or doubing the size of the second biggest weight room like Bama did. This is something that is clearly needed. At least it should be clear to everybody.

This is confusing. For some reason, Vanderbilt has a lower cost of living than Tennessee. Don't you think the NCAA will put a cap on it?
