… on YouTube; not an ESPN fan but I do think Rece is genuinely a good guy. Reading some of the various opinions on whether this was truly a knee-jerk decision. If Saban/Bama’s timing of this was indeed deliberate - relative to classes starting, etc, (and of course anyone with his track record is going to be silky smooth and ultra-convincing, especially when questioned and/or presenting a case in point), this is just really odd. Having said that, you have to believe there is a decent chance that Saban is being honest about how all of this went down. The aftermath that has followed these last few days certainly appears as though the Bama Admin wasn’t exactly prepared to efficiently manage this situation. I personally believe he is being truthful … and just finally decided he has had enough of the craziness associate with continuing to run the Race that doesn’t appear to have a Finish Line.
