and then kept them far too long. This, in a nutshell, is why we are where we are.

Dennis Felton (04-09)
Mark Fox (09-18)
Tom Crean (18-22)
Mike White (22-?)

Keeping Fox for nearly a decade absolutely killed the program. Then we completely whiff with Crean. Now it would appear we have made another bad/lazy hire in Mike White. Nothing changes until we find the imagination and cajones to make a game-changing hire.

We've made one "safe" hire after another and every single one has been a disaster. This conference shows that all you need is the right coach. Once you have him, things change very quickly. We've never managed to get that guy.

It is an embarrassment and disgrace that we've been the worst program in the conference for quite a while now. When does it change? Maybe it doesn't. The only thing that is consistent across the last two decades is our own poor decisions and lack of commitment/concern.
