I’m planning to head down to Jacksonville for the Cocktail Party with a friend. It will be my second trip. The first in 2019 was a disaster because I made the mistake of only bringing my manual wheelchair, and we had to wheel all over the stadium to resolve an issue with our tickets, so we missed almost the entire first quarter.
This time around I will most likely rent a wheelchair accessible van to bring my power wheelchair so no one will have to push me. Should I try to find a wheelchair accessible shuttle to take us to/from the stadium (shuttle recommendations welcome), or find a parking pass near the stadium?
Also, in terms of hotel, is Amelia Island the way to go? We’re looking to have fun but not go too crazy because we’re past our prime partying days.
