I know, a rather obscure score... and maybe just a way of mentioning one of my favorite players from my youth, Tron Jackson, the "Electron Bomb."
Interesting tidbit about Jackson: In that he rushed for 877 yards on 135 carries from 1982 through 1985, I figured his 6.50 yards-per-carry average was a Georgia all-time career record of those with 100+ rushes—until recently. Jackson now ranks third all time, trailing D'Andre Swift (6.56 from 2017-2019) and James Cook (6.53 from 2018-2021), and just ahead of Todd Gurley (6.44 from 2012-2014).
