Believe it or not, there were some conversations had yesterday about prospects other than Justice Haynes. A lot of that conversation was geared toward the wide receiver position. Here are some of the notes that we came away with.

Georgia does not have anyone on its roster that is like Williams. He is being recruited as such. Georgia is up against Texas A&M. We all know that NIL is going to be a factor in this recruitment. Williams is the type of wide receiver that changes how you are defended. Pitt is not out of this recruitment either. Georgia is right in the thick of this one, and Bryan McClendon has a nice rapport with Florida recruits. Nothing is decided in this one yet.

Yet another Williams. This one is just beginning to tap his potential. A big-bodied target, Tyler Williams would be an imposing redzone target and also is fast enough to take the top off the defense in the open field. Ole Miss has an official visit with Williams on the weekend of September 3. This recruitment seems like Georgia's to lose at this point.

This one was trending away from Georgia it seemed just a couple of weeks ago. UGASports has heard whispers of the trend turning back toward Georgia as of late. Bryan McClendon and Todd Monken were the first to jump on board and really pursue Evans after a lull in his recruitment when he was previously committed to Arkansas. Oklahoma seems to be the biggest threat and the team that Georgia will be going head to head with. One to keep an eye on for sure.

Fowles has a top six of Georgia, Texas A&M, Maryland, Florida State, Miami, and Ole Miss. Dell McGee is the one who offered Fowles. Feels like Georgia would be more likely to take the three listed above Fowles on this list. Should one break the other way on one of those three, look for Fowles to become a larger priority.
