Some thoughts-

- US losing several Gold medals by tenths and hundredths of seconds. Track and Swimming especially. Unfortunate, as we are trailing China by just a few Golds.

- Handball is 10x more exciting than soccer. Surprised the US is a noncompetitor in it.

-Watching this version of the Dream Team has been fun. Refreshing to see a basketball team that wins. I like how Kerr has a rotating starting five and has different guys starring and sitting each game.

-Chinese swimmers should be drug tested thoroughly just before and just after the events. Call it a repeat offender rule.

-Not sure when this happened, but everyone is ranking the nations by most golds, not overall medals. So it looks like China is winning, when in reality, the US has 40% more medals.

Also, China cleaned up in “sports” like shooting, badminton, rhythmic gymnastics and table tennis. Those aren’t even sports!

-US should be dominant at volleyball and 3x3 basketball. Unsure why there is even competition there.

-Congrats to Ms. Biles. She is a one woman show for us.

-I think UGA has one Olympic medalist so far - Fink in swimming. We used to have several more.
