UGASports made some calls this weekend and received updates on priority running back targets for Georgia in the Class of 2024.
Georgia is in daily communication with the Florida State commit. Dell McGee texts Davis and his parents every morning. As of now, Davis remains firm in his commitment to the Seminoles, but Georgia is putting itself in position to get one of the three official visits that Davis plans to take. The standout from Dougherty wants to play football and baseball in college. Georgia's baseball staff has not reached out at this point. If it did, Davis would be open to talking with them.
Gibson is also in daily communication with Dell McGee. It is still be decided whether or not Gibson will visit this weekend, but UGASports has been told that Georgia is recruiting Gibson as hard as any program. Officially Gibson has released a top 12 and a top 6 is coming this spring. When it comes to Georgia and Gibson, the number could get down to a top 2 or 3, and Georgia would still be in it. Really like where Georgia stands in this recruitment.
