Spoke with Abdullah at the Under Armour camp today. The No. 15 overall prospect in the class attends Woodward Academy in College Park and has racked up nearly 40 offers from some of the top powers in the country.
Georgia, however, has not offered yet. Abdullah has visited Athens multiple times but the good news from Bryan McClendon has yet to come.
In speaking with him today, Abdullah said he felt like Georgia wants to see a little more out of his game before they offer. For example, he thinks want to see some speed flash. In drills today, Abdullah said he clocked at a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash, a pretty solid time for a high school sophomore.
Abdullah said he'll be back in Athens to workout either in the spring or summer. If he shows what the Bulldogs want to see, an offer could finally come. Abdullah has always spoken very highly of the Bulldogs when I've spoken with him. If an offer comes, Georgia will vault toward the forefront of his recruitment.
