250K jobs last month...Thank you Biden and our next POTUS Kamala Harris*

Again...there were upward revisions for July and August and you guys just dismiss it like it's nothing...

You can't have it both ways. Upward and downward revisions cannot both be bad. Pick a lane.
It has to be exhausting taking up for this pathetic Administration.

Ok good , 2 months are up. But after being lied to and manipulated for years, color us skeptical.

Well... technically, that would be 2 out of 100 since it was 2 months revised upward. But I digress.

Look not everything is bad news. But some of y'all are hell bent on getting on here every day acting like someone pissed in your cornflakes. I'm thankful enough to be in a position that allows me to view things objectively and not emotionally. Lets say they missed the mark by 100k. We would still have 150k jobs added, which would STILL be in line with the projections.

If this news came out under trump y'all would be having the biggest circle jerk ever. And I wouldn't be on here trying to downplay it...because it is actually positive news.
You seem like a good dude stone. I will try a different tact here. Under Trump the economy news kept getting better until COVID. And even October before the election the reports showed an economy upturn. These all turned out to be facts. Why that happened is up to you to believe.

Every number released by the left turns out wrong. Even the two that were upgraded were incorrect to start with. What does that tell you. If Kamala gets elected later in November it will come in that all of it is likely bullshit. It is the pattern that is the issue.

I have been in this site for over twenty years. No one would ever confuse me for a Nancy. In life or on this board. I call them like I see them but I would rather lean in a positive way. I find it real hard to find positives with this admin.

I get not liking Trump, but they are packaging Kamala with Trump like positions. Jd Vance did his podcast victory tour this week. Said he felt bad for tim. They decided to not go after him and his lies. Instead they pretended they were debating Kamala. He had no chance. What does that say. Tim was agreeing with his positions more than any Democrat ever has. 50 million watched the vp debate.

Isn’t it funny to you that just before election stats seem to improve? Why not in the last 3 1/2 years. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
And what % are actually Full-time jobs? Most are part-time jobs to illegals. If Farmer Joe needs field hands to pick tomatoes…… it’s a Full-Time job to the left.

You do realize that the 254k number is "nonfarm payrolls", right?

I’m sure you get my point. Those numbers are skewed.
No. Your point was not just that the "numbers are skewed". Your point was farmer joe hired illegals to pick tomatoes and that those are part time jobs being counted as full time jobs and are the driving force for the number being high.

However, if farmer joe did in fact hire illegals to pick his tomatoes, those numbers STILL wouldn't be included here since this report bis NONFARM PAYROLLS.

Even if there were 150k jobs added last month, that would be a great indicator the economy is ok. Not everything is bad news.

While I appreciate the kind words about my character (I share similar sentiments for you btw), the revisionist history of trump's economy is maddening. I am in no way saying that trump's economy pre COVID was approaching recession territory, but it was in fact slowing down and they did initially overstate jobs to the tune of 500k. There were concerns over the economy cooling from summer 2019 and thru the fall. So, not all economic information "kept getting better" under trump. It's not always sunshine and rainbows just because trump says so.

Trump overstates jobs by 500k and nets jobs of about 1.9m, while Biden overstates jobs and nets around 2.1m after revision...and bidens is supposed to be a bad thing? I fail to see how it can be both (both numbers are very strong employment results in my opinion).

As for Vance, that guy is a Yale educated lawyer who failed, 3 times on tv in front of those 50m viewers, to acknowledge that trump lost in 2020. The whole ticket is living in an alternate reality. Also, we were told that VP debates don't matter, but I guess now they do?

Bottom line is the Sept jobs report was positive and there is no way to spin it negatively. Even it it's revised down 100k it's still strong.

Agreed that the jobs report was encouraging. Welcome news unless you believe it keeps the fed from continuing to lowering rates.

What made the Trump economy good is that it worked for everyone, whereas the GDP growth, company valuation dynamics, and job growth of the Biden economy has been concentrated in certain sectors and income tranches. Namely - big Tech, government, part-time and foreign born jobs, and all of it countered by 40+ year high inflation and 5x increases in borrowing rates.

Small businesses or any businesses that require access to debt capital are getting squeezed.

An entire generation of would-be first time homebuyers cannot do it. It literally costs $20k more per year to buy a traditional first home. Read that again. That is a huge deal, and an assault on the traditional American dream.

The party of the little guy has championed an economy that rewards the wealthy. If you own NVIDIA stock, you are loving it. If you are working class, you long for the economic situation you had in 2020.

It isn’t just about the job report stone. Every single number ever released by this administration has been adjusted down later. In some cases way down. I like hearing anything positive. My girls have two and three jobs now to make ends meet because one degree and an entry level job doesn’t cover it. It is a good lesson for them. But they now will also never trust democrats who keep telling them the economy is great. Which is all they hear on the msm. They are now to the point of wanting to throw the remote at Kamala every time they see her. They don’t believe her. It is such a bad pattern anything positive is impossible to believe.

Let’s talk why Vance may feel this way. He may not believe there is election fraud. But he may in turn believe Trump should have won. The election had a ton of new rules because of the pandemic. It broke 15 records for turnout during a deadly pandemic. Including 22 million more voters in the 2020 election than in 2016. 16 million more than any increase in our country’s history. There is no way to prove election fraud. The rules didn’t allow it. The rules were used brilliantly by the left to win. But while this can’t be proven. Guess what. It can’t be disproven either. That is the problem and why he may feel that way. A lot of pubs feel this way.

Is it too crazy to believe something may not have been right, when so many areas started reviewing the rules after it happened.

Vance is measured. He isn’t crazy. And he is actually very down to earth. He used to common sense approach to destroy Walz. He didn’t name call. He didn’t make it dirty. He stuck to the facts. Now this election denial is all you have to hold on to. So I get it. But you can’t be unburdened. Oh Nevermind. Here is Biden saying Trump was illegitimate and you voted for him. :)

Every single number ever released by this administration has been adjusted down later.
You keep speaking in definitives here and this is simply not true. It's not even true for this year (March 2024 total net revisions = +12k jobs). There are 2 revisions each month - looking one month prior and 2 months prior.

My girls have two and three jobs now to make ends meet because one degree and an entry level job doesn’t cover it.

I'm sorry about your family situation...truly I am...but I know enough people in the same demographic (recent college grads with entry level positions) that are not sharing that experience. So...I will chalk both of our experiences up as anecdotal to our respective lives and leave it at that. Praying for you and your family.

Vance is letting his feelings get in the way of facts....a disease that many suffer from. I don't care what his feeling are...he has no facts to support his theories. As someone who has the ability be an officer of the court, he should know that he needs evidence and not his feelings or opinions. There isn't a need for anyone to "disprove" anything. That's not how it works; it's on the accuser to provide the proof. This "prove me wrong" BS needs to stop (for both sides). It's infuriating. Especially now that we know trump KNEW he was lying (or at the very least, making absurd allegations) about election fraud.

Here is Biden saying Trump was illegitimate and you voted for him. :)

I can no longer see the video in the article you linked so I will reserve my opinion there due to lack of context as to which part Biden was agreeing with.

The good news is they promise they won't revise these down like every other jobs report. Remember, the 850,000 jobs the lied about and then "adjusted down" a year later? Yeah, they pinky swear not to do that this time, so we should be good.

Yup, and IIRC, @mitchelldawg bet @atlanta cock# $100 that there wouldn't be a downward revision on one of the reports when it was incredibly obvious the numbers were fabricated.

Speaking of which, @atlanta cock# , did he ever pay you?

I guess I will reword and say nearly every time they are adjusted. If you look above, there was a bet made on this. Why? Because it happens nearly every time.

I appreciate the comments about my kids. It does suck for them. Most of their friends are in the same boat. Partially because of rent. I rented them a place three years ago. 1050 a month. Same place last year. Same complex is now 1550 per month. I don’t know how your folks are avoiding this. But more power to you. Not to mention food and gas price issues. Utilities have also gone way up.

He does have evidence. Too many weird happenings. 22 million more voted under the new rules. Like I said, 6 million was the previous record. 15 first time records were set in this election during a pandemic. Several by the elderly where covid hit the hardest. Not recognizing this means you just have a blind spot. I can recognize no fraud will be proven, but you can’t gloss over the numbers. They don’t lie. It was set up where it couldn’t be proven. Which was brilliant. Trump was cocky and arrogant. He paid for it.

Biden has said it so many times about Trump it isn’t funny. You can have it both ways here.

This is why it is such a strange hill to die on. Even schiff brought it up yesterday and someone asked him another illegitimate comments. He scoffed and said this is different. No it isn’t.

I think you are just arguing semantics. I am glad the numbers are up. Maybe my oldest can find a better job. Before these jobs magically disappear like they never existed.

Lol....You trying to convince me that the Biden/Harris Adminstration isn't fudging the numbers is beyond hilarious. Biden/Harris have lied about every govermental statistic known to man. The point is moot but pay attention and observe how a real Adminstration runs a country. Get ready to prosper! MAGA!
