1. Home field advantage is paramount in College Football

In each of the 1st round games, we saw tremendous atmospheres that produced momentum early for the hosting teams. Even w/ Vol fans doing their best to stain Columbus an horrible shade of Orange.

2. Chips lead to Ships

A program feeling collectively disrespected is so powerful! Ohio State after the Michigan debacle & the crap they caught is an example. Same for Texas after the 2nd Georgia loss. Notre Dame & Penn State were just insulted at who their opponents were.

Georgia, well they wake up feeling disrespected. So we got that going for us!

3. A controlled burn

All the teams that won have leaders at QB that have some emotional fire about them. Not out of control or hotheads/jerks, just guys with some fire to them! All the greats have had it: Brady, Elway, Favre, Manning, Montana. Skill yes, but guts/grit to match.

This is one are where Gunner is a 1000% improvement over Beck!

Now apply these 3 observations to the remaining 8 teams. No home field, so I guess it’s who buys tickets at these regional sites. With that one cancelled out, in addition to personnel & scheme, it is who has the disrespect card to play and who has emotional leaders at QB?

The teams that definitely have both: Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia, Texas & Notre Dame.

Let the real games begin!
