Our 3 year old is having a tonsillectomy tomorrow - I’ve read stories all over the place about recovery and what to expect. Anyone in hear have first-hand experience on a toddler’s tonsil removal? I know it’s supposed to be easier if they’re younger.
Everything I’ve read says it seems to get better days 3-4 and then dives back into a rough patch on days 5-6 and that you MUST keep the pain meds in them every three hours even if they say it doesn’t hurt, in addition to making sure they stay hydrated.
