I know we have to be at “85 scholarships” eventually, but with NIL now, does this even really matter? Cant we just get a few more guys some NIL deals to pay for everything school wise to get our official numbers down? I am not seeing the true need for players to leave for numbers to go down like before NIL. It seems like a really simple way to have huge roster numbers and deep practice squads to me. Am I missing something here?
