Really, this is ridiculous. A hysterical Democrat press echoes hysterical Democrats making them even more hysterical. They compare Donald Trump's firing of Jim Comey to when Nixon fired Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox in an attempt to cover up the Watergate scandal. But there are two big differences. One, there's no scandal — and two, if there were, there'd be no trustworthy press to report it.

After eight years of lying belly up like a panting puppy while Barack Obama abused the IRS, corrupted the Justice Department, and mishandled the Middle East, journalists with zero credibility wonder why no one takes their breathless Trump madness seriously.

And Trump trolls the idiots without mercy. You think I'm like Nixon? Here's a photo op of me with Henry Kissinger. You think I'm in league with the Russians? Guess it's time for a meeting with the Russian ambassador and foreign minister. With every move he makes he is saying to journalists what all of us wanted to say to them when they slandered Mitt Romney or beleaguered George W. Bush with non-scandal scandals. I can't write those words here, but one of them's "Go" and another's "yourself." You figure it out.

Anonymous sources say Comey was asking for more money for his Russia probe. Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe says no. People close to the Justice Department say Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein threatened to quit because Trump cited him in his decision. Rosenstein says it never happened. Sources in the FBI say morale is at a new low because of Comey's firing — but the press has been reporting the FBI's morale low for months because of Comey's actions!

Remember the Watergate reporters meeting Deep Throat in a garage and then painstakingly backing up his assertions with high-level sources until a phalanx of editors felt they had the story solid? These modern clowns are in the garage talking to the parking valet and then running with it. Jose says Trump's going to be impeached! What a bunch of knuckleheads.

Democrats who called for Comey to be fired are shocked — shocked — that he got fired? Who cares? That's not a story, that's just politics as usual dialed up to Shrill for the Trump era. The Democrats say Trump fired Comey to kill the Russia investigation? Really? How's that work? Comey didn't run the investigation. He ran the Bureau. The investigation will go on, just as Andrew McCabe said it will.

Trump has a tendency to wait too long to fire people and then suddenly go off. Corey Lewandowski, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn. It's his style, maybe his nature. Maybe he fired people on reality TV for so long he thinks that's how it's done in real life, I don't know. But Comey's latest testimony was shocking stuff and should've gotten him fired right then and there.

Why did Comey bring the Hillary Clinton case to the public and usurp the Justice Department's right to decide whether to prosecute?

"A number things had gone on, some of which I can't talk about yet, that made me worry that the department leadership could not credibly complete the investigation and decline prosecution without grievous damage to the American people's confidence in the -- in the justice system. And then the capper was -- and I'm not picking on the -- the Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who I like very much -- but her meeting with President Clinton on that airplane was the capper for me. And I then said, you know what, the department cannot by itself credibly end this. The best chance we have as a justice system is if I do something I never imagined before, step away from them and tell the American people, look, here's what the FBI did, here's what we found, here's what we think."

I mean, come on. You have to be kidding me. The head of the FBI decides that he has to take charge because the Obama Justice Department is too corrupt to be credible? Trump aside, why should the Justice Department tolerate a Bureau chief who feels he has the power to decide when he gets to go over their heads?

Look, the firing of Comey is a big story. It happened shockingly fast and there's a lot we don't know. And yes, Trump's volatility and unreliability make it all hard to follow. But hey, journalists: get the facts, do your job, don't just echo your Democrat pals, don't just slander the president because you disagree with him. Don't just lie. It makes you look too much like the corrupt partisans you are.

For God's sweet sake, doesn't anybody know how to report the news anymore?

So for eight years, republicans have been talking crazy about how Obama's taking all our guns and freedoms away, and Hillary Clinton is this, that, and the other thing. Just really going rabid. Frothing at the mouth, stocking up for the sure-fire Armageddon.

And you want to have credibility now? Please.

Who is slandering the President, and who is the President slandering?

Until you Dems have earned the moral high ground, don't even think about pointing fingers in regards to covering up an investigation!

The media closed ranks in support of the Obama narrative on Benghazi less than 2 months Before the 2012 Election. The media perpetuated this BS story of a protest that escalated and DID NOT exercise basic journalistic investigative principles. Through their (MSN) actions or inactions, they kept the American people in the dark and suppressed the TRUTH of what actually happened in Benghazi. The msm helped Obama steal the 2012 Election.

My life's observations about politics are as follows:

Republicans from time to time wear rose colored glasses when it comes to their missteps or transgressions, but they will eventually eat their own. Case in point, Watergate.

Democrats are absolutely blind when it comes to their missteps or transgressions and will eat the opposition for attempting to point them out. Case in point, Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky, Obamacare, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, Illegal Ailens, Sanctuary Cities, IRS to target opposition groups, Hillary's Emails, Comey & Hillary's email investigation-2016 Election, DNC's illegal activities during 2016 Election, blaming the Russians for losing the 2016 Elections, Organized attempt to obstruct and / or derail the Trump Presidency...to name a few.

LMAO.

So preachy! And mindless.

In the Lunatic Fringe Fever Swamp, only Republicans have the "moral high ground".

Meanwhile, the president hasn't divested himself of his business interests, as ALL previous presidents have done;

The president uses taxpayer money to pay for frequent vacations to his own golf resort, enriching himself at taxpayer expense;

The president used the State Department's Share America website to promote his property;

These actions are violations of the US Constitution's Domestic Emoluments Clause.

The president's businesses have accepted money from foreign governments, a violation of the US Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause.

The president has appointed his daughter and son-in-law to positions in the White House. This is a violation of 5 US Code 3110, which prohibits nepotism.

The attorney general committed perjury during his confirmation hearing when he testified that he had no contact with the Russian government during the presidential campaign, when he had in fact met with a Russian diplomat on at least two occasions.

Only in the Bizarro World of the Lunatic Fringe Fever Swamp can the "moral high ground" be occupied by the party of Watergate, Iran-Contra, Jack Abramoff, Randy Cunningham, Dennis Hastert, and Newt Gingrich!

Certainly not acceptance.

Denial appears accurate. That means they have a long, long, long way to go before recovery.
I honestly don't see how the democRAT party, as it is today, can survive. The psychotic far left, the non-contributors and the deviant lifestyle advocates have no where else to go. And, they will eventually rally around their hate of America enough to take over the party and continue to get big money from foreign interests trying to bring down our government and military.
That leaves (generally) what I call the self hater/coward segment who have been supporting the democRAT party because of either a fear they might have to fight for something, or they are toting around some form of guilt complex because of one thing or another (like inherited wealth or even perhaps awareness of their cowardice). At any rate, that group will soon have to make a decision. I think they will split fairly evenly between the parties.
But, the democRATs have already lost the working class, probably for a very, very long time (given their current demographics). If someone is honestly assessing working class vote, what reason could they produce for them to go back to the democRAT party? That is obviously the real reason they lost the White House. And that vote is not racial. It is economic. Trump got 63% of the white male vote, over 30% of the Hispanic male vote and even 13% of the black male vote. Those are people who work for a living.

Like my father always says..."People tend to vote their pocketbooks".

Trump's economic message resonated. Hillary's economic message was....nonexistent.

That is absolutely true. And, all the screaming, lying and "Russia" bullshit is just noise to divert our attention away from the fact that Trump is improving the economy. It will not work. Even after all these years of brainwashing our young people to turn them into simple-minded sheep who can only suck at the public tit, most still want to have the self respect of individual achievement and self reliance. When push comes to shove, people vote for the guys who provide opportunity for them to do things for themselves. God Bless America.
