Kirby Smart keeps hammering home how young his team is and how Georgia has less turnover than most teams in college football.
That means teams will struggle to find experience and continuity.
While I agree that top-end, elite talent will always win out in football, something must be said for the communication and familiarity of the core of Georgia's offense. Mike Bobo is calling plays, Drew Bobo is lining it up and snapping, and Gunner Stockton is distributing from there. I can't imagine any other team in the country has three guys who know each other so well in those positions.
That familiarity isn't enough to win a national championship, but it is enough to sidestep some of the potholes that derail seasons for most teams. I like that core and Georgia's offensive playmakers, who get the ball after those three guys dictate it.
