About the disrespect card Kirby played last year....

He recently said it popped up a couple of times during the season.
I think one of those was the preseason last year where despite being ranked third and several picking us to make the playoff, very few picked us to win the conference or national championship.
We were coming off of a title.
Alabama has been picked as the favorite to win the title in almost every year after they won it the previous year. We were hardly picked by anyone.
This year Alabama is coming off of two disappointing years. Last year they didn't even make the CFP.
They were picked to win it all yesterday by both McAfee and Herbie. McElroy has already picked them as well. They currently don't have a QB that Saban is satisfied with. They are changing their offense back to run first. They have new coordinators on both sides of the ball. They lost their best players on both sides of the ball and many would say those players were the best in all of college football. The NFL seems to think so.

So let the media laugh about the disrespect card, but it's pretty obvious where it came from.
