I don't know why but for some reason I see him being benched at some point tonight . Kirby will try and outsmart the master .It worked for Saban against UGA when Laban pulled Hurts in favor of Tua but it won't work for the Mutts

The handling of the QB position has been a huge sore spot for the uga fans with Kirby. Kirby better hope they don't lose because of stetson turning it over etc

I think they will have him on a short leash, no pun intended. Can’t let bama creep up to the line to take away the run because he can’t get it done down the field. Wouldn’t be surprised at all to see the backup in the first half.
That said, I think Bama is going to beat them by >8 points. Georgia’s safeties and corners didn’t become all SEC in the few weeks since the last game.

My only concern is that Metchie being out makes it easier for UGA to bracket or double cover Williams. I'd imagine Bama adjusts and goes to their TEs early and often.mbp501 said:

I've said thos for the last 2 years...Bennet is more dangerous than JT bc he is very elusive and can throw a good deep ball. He may not be the best decision maker but he makes many plays. I would rather go against JT any day. If Bennet doesn't play the whole game they will lose

The mutts crushed Michigan, but you could tell they had much better athletes and players. Virtually every play, UGA was better, stronger, faster. That along with the mistakes michigan made, done from the beginning. With a athlete/physicality comparable team, it would have been a closer game. It's hard to bet against Saban and how he game plans. If kirby doesn't come up with a better game plan and be able to change/adjust, I don't know if they can beat Bama just on athletes/physicality.

Michigan offense was not dynamic or balanced enough. Michigan hadn't seen a defense like theirs all season so that run game wasn't gon work unless they were able to pass the ball effectively. That's why bama is such a problem for UGA. They throw it very well and run it well so the Dawgs have to be very disciplined and balanced. I don't think Bennet can beat bama defense. But neither can any qb on their roster.

Other than losing Metchie, I don’t get what has folks thinking the outcome this time will be any different than the SEC-C. In fact, I’d say the hits Georgia’s staff took will play a bigger role than the loss of Metchie.
I have no idea if the departing coaches are still coaching in this game for the pups but even if they are, there is a 0% chance their full attention has been devoted to this game for the past month.

The midget is elusive/mobile than JT and can throw a good balls (less than 40/50 yds) with out pressure in his face.Bland757 said:

Get some pressure like Bama did and he throws 2 ints and missed several key throws in the face of pressure... Bryce Young made those throws under pressure and that was the difference...
If Bama OL holds up again, uGay has no chance...

Kirby will have a decent game plan. He is incapable of making any adjustments. If bama counters them, then bama wins. It’s not a fluke that he’s never beaten Saban. It’s also not a fluke that the guy has, what, 7 titles? Kirby is a liability against saban. Bama is in their heads.Gatorsboy7 said:

They might be able to look good early, but Bama is Bama in a championship game. Add 'em up ... which has the most championships between them (much less between Little Nicky and Kirby the Sideline Chihuahua)?JimGaster said:

i dont like most people think bama wins. but 2 most impt factors HC and QB which Bama has a big advantage.. get pressure on bennet and he stinks imo. but bama will miss metchie tonight. who replaces metchie. should be a good game and hopefully from a Gator perspective bama rolls.

UGA is better everywhere but QB & HC. Bama is way, way better there. However, Kirby isn’t bad & he is going to get Muschamp’s help to tune up their Defensive gamepl Bennett will play fine and UGA is going to “Storm The Castle” and get after Bama’s offense.
UGA’s Defense will stuff Bama this time…
I see UGA controlling both lines of scrimmage.

Exactly...and they had to adjust mid game. They've had 2wks to gameplan with their roster. That helps Bama bc UGA has no idea who Bama plans on using tonight and how they will do it.anpGator said:

Huge game with everything on the line? I'm going with the team which has a stellar QB who has proven again and again that no stage is too big for him.
If you look at position group by position group, I think Georgia is the better team in more areas than not. But Bama has Saban. And Bama has Bryce Young. And the one other position group, other than QB, where Georgia has some question marks is the defensive secondary... ...which will see the same Breyce Young who torched them with big plays one month ago. That means trouble.
If Georgia's front 7 can't get much better pressure this time around I don't think the result will be much different. I hope Smart overthinks this again and doesn't bring the heat on Young for fear of big plays and his running ability. I would worry about Young's ability to run -- but I would clearly take that poison over having to defend his arm all night.

I agree with everything you said except Bennett does not throw a great deep ball, edge to JT there but agree their best chance is for Bennett to play all game as Daniels is not a running threat.Bland757 said:
