To put it simply, Georgia is in the “thick of it”with four-star ILB Tavion Wallace from Wayne County. Wallace will take his next trip to UGA for an official visit from June 7-9. The biggest thing with Wallace’s recruitment is “consistency.” Wallace wants to get to know the staff more at each of his top schools: Georgia, Florida State, and Florida. He said off camera there’s no true leader right now. He will commit to his future school on July 15 and shut his recruitment down. Glenn Schumann, who is here today in Jesup, compares him to Roquan Smith. He likes that comparison. Wallace also hears from new QB commit Ryan Montgomery often. Montgomery wants him in this 2025 class. He also hears from tight end commit Elyiss Williams, too. Wallace looks forward to going up against Williams next month when Wayne County and Camden County (Williams’ school) meet for a 7-on-7 camp.
