When my siblings took the car keys from my father when he was 86, he never really forgave them. My father wrote letters to the chief of police, the registry of motor vehicles, our state rep, and our local state rep, and possibly others, asking to get his license plates and license back. It didn’t matter to him that he flunked a driving test, and didn’t concern him about the safety of others on the road, he wanted to drive, dammit. We have the same disorder and illness in the White House right now. And it is a disorder and illness.
