My buddy is likely moving there next year after he gets married and has made the drastic statement that he plans to "retire from being a Georgia fan" since: 1) he feels the need to focus more time on learning French, getting immersed in Montreal culture, etc. and 2) his new wife doesn't like college football and he'll have no one to watch games with. I've told him he's being ridiculous (to put it nicely), but he is right in that Montreal doesn't seem to have as strong of a college football presence as other international cities.
