Cleaning out some boxes, I came across a piece of Sanford Stadium’s hedges I remember grabbing at the end of the 1995 Auburn game. You recall that the hedges were being removed to make room for the Olympic soccer venue that summer. If I remember correctly, this game was also frigid—maybe the coldest I’ve ever been at Sanford.
The piece of hedge has to be one of my most unusual pieces of Georgia Bulldogs sports memorabilia (although I have a 1985 Sun Bowl hat somewhere that might rival it).
