Always have used gas in the past and want to try something different. Are the pellets expensive compared to gas,or does the difference in food quality negate the price difference? Is it really as easy as advertised?

Neighbor/Good Friend has a Traeger, it does a great job and is...

very easy to use. His has the electric thermostat thing that you can set to a temp and it will hold that temp forever as long as you keep adding pellets. It makes the best BBQ I've ever eaten. The pellet hopper holds about 11-12 hours worth of pellets at 250 degrees.

I know they are expensive but they are good.

i'd recommend one. we're in process of developing our own model...

we cooked on a prototype recently and it was very easy and did a great job.

The Traeger dude is at Costco this week selling grills for 200 dollars off, Kind of ironic that he is there and Rec Tec headquarters are less than 1000 yards away from Costco.

The Costco in Augusta? I didn't know RecTec was based in Augusta.

Yes, Costco in Augusta. Rec Tec is behind Weinbergers right down the street.

I know the Rec Tec guy, too.

De Colores.
