Just wanna take a second and say imagine if before we were selected for the NIT someone told you we’d retain the freshman minus Mari and keep Frank, Cal would leave UK and we’d add one of their top bigs in Somto to play next to Asa we’d land Abson over Michigan and Xavier, land Montgomery over Miss State, and be in a good spot for a top 75 guard with 4 years experience and a guy from an Elite 8 roster last season. 🤯🤯🤯. If any one of a million things had gone wrong including not making the NIT run or any of the freshmen leaving easy to see how it could have blown up. Very grateful to be excited about our roster and to feel like we could compete with anyone next year.
