Our schedule is obviously very difficult. What people aren't really talking about is that even after that brutal regular season schedule, we might well then have to go to Atlanta to play another national title contender in the SEC Championship game, conceivably in a rematch of a regular season game. I wonder if you're better off not going to the SEC Championship game than going and losing? And I'm not just talking about Georgia. If a team has 2 losses in the regular season, I am assuming they would be better off not going to the SEC Championship game and potentially winding up with 3 losses. I would hope that the committee would reward the teams that make it to the SEC Championship game and won't penalize the loser of that game. The committee damn sure didn't take that tact with us last year though.
Are you better off for the 12-team playoff not even going to the SEC Championship Game?
