What would you change? Not sure there’s much. It’s such a great week. My favorite or the year.

TV coverage often comes up. I think it’s the perfect amount and the app is the best in the game. You can see every players shot on the app plus live coverage of holes 456, 11 12 13, and 15/16 not to mention featured groups. This year they added 2 extra hours on Saturday/Sunday. Maybe the only thing I would change is a couple extra hours of coverage Thursday and Friday.
Food
The traditional egg salad, pimento cheese, and BBQ are fine. I’m not wanting to change it. But I think they could step up their game here. People come a long way and pay a lot of money to get on the grounds. Maybe add some real food to the main concessions by the merch tent. Hamburger, hot dog/brat, or even better options like a lobster roll or some kind of po’ boy sandwich.
The no cell phone policy is great, never change it. But maybe they offer some kind of radio device to put in your ear or even a handheld that you can watch or track scores. I’ve been lucky enough to go to the masters for 20+ years. I turn down Saturday and Sunday tickets every year because I want to be able to follow the tournament. Those sitting on 18 yesterday had to get there early and heard roars and groans all over the course. They likely had no clue what was going on other than the old school scoreboard as they flipped and posted new scores.
Speaking of scoreboards, never change them either. But maybe there are some spots on the grounds you could see more digital technology including a place to watch or see more scores quicker than walking down by 1 to see the handwritten scoreboard which is far away from most all of the action on the course.
What else you got? How would you even try and improve the greatest golf tournament?
