all of our other players are lacking, to a significant degree, in certain areas such as D, rebounding, shooting, ball handling, passing, etc. In some games, some of our players shoot the ball well, but against a tough SEC defense like we saw today, the shooting was abysmal. And we will see these tough SEC defenses almost every game from here on in.
But we do have some talented players in certain areas.
Something has to change with our offense. CMW needs to add some structure and patterns to our O. The stuff we’re running right now is ineffective against the tough SEC defenses we’ll see. He needs to run some set patterns for Asa.
Our offense right now is to just let one of our outside men freelance, get a pick and roll from one of our bigs, try to take it to the rim, and if that fails, which it does 75% of the time, let somebody else try the same thing.
I don’t believe he’s starting the right five.
