Here are the objective facts:
- OL development and play has been worse this season than it has been in a long time. Recruiting has also seen a significant drop off. Directly related to an extremely questionable OL coach hire.
- There are probably 25 teams with more WR talent than us. In today’s modern day game, that is just unacceptable.
- Despite the most defensive back talent in the country, our DB play has been some of the worst. This is directly related to the loss of a DC and hiring a PAC-12 DB coach.
- QB play and offensive production has been abysmal. This is a direct reflection of offensive coaching (responsibility of the OC).
The facts are that extremely questionable coaching hires (and WR talent) is showing up on the field. Unless major coaching changes are made to coaching, this program has quite possibly seen its best days.
