1. The outlets are rotating out of physical office space within the Pentagon. Nobody is 'banned' and all outlets are free to report the same as they were before.

2. The outlets rotated out will have an opportunity to be rotated back into the physical office space in the future.

It's a convenience that the outlets being rotated out have enjoyed a monopoly on. Now, outlets will take turns with that convenience.

I don’t think anyone should agree with this.

If you want to add in conservative “news“ sources, that’s fine, but to remove the only people that are going to be critical of the work the government does, has been proven throughout history to be a really bad idea.

Does anyone think any of those news organizations that are now in are going to be critical of Donald Trump, Pete, Hegseth, or anything regarding the administration? The purpose of the media is to report about what government is doing at the every day citizen doesn’t see.

Sure does not seem like any of those organizations leaving have been critical of the government the last four years. But I am good with a mix. Honestly, what I would really love is just news. Not conservative news. Not liberal news. Just present the facts. Let the people forn their own opinion. But that was America of many years ago when the press was important to hold government accountable. Now the press mostly attacks conservatives and protects liberals.

And I am pretty conservative, but I am not a fan of echo chambers.

That is a common comeback from the lefties here. I always find it funny. I am not saying you are a lefty. They all lie on air. The lawsuit payout had way less to do with what they lied about, and more to do with no wanting to expose internal emails and text messages. Because the next comeback is always. No way. Ole stephanopolis and his group had to payout money and apologize for lies about trump. They didn’t settle because of the lie, but for the same reason. They didn’t want to have anyone see their internal communications. Rachel madcow has been sued for this several times as has Anderson cooper.

Dominion ironically was proven to be very hackable. Not by pubs. But by a democrat lawsuit headed by a group backing Killary.

Those being moved did and the memo is an update/response....basically said dozens (80?) of other media orgs are able to report without the space, so deal with it. But, they are allowing secure storage space for cameras and other equipment....basically trying to make it as easy and equal for all.

But to be banning the only media that would be critical is 1) completely unethical, 2) stupid, and 3) goes against what our founders stood for. It’s simply in-American.

So frustrating watching so called MSM push agendas and flat out lie. Christen Welker on Face the Nation claimed Trump said he wanted to “permanently remove Palestinians from Gaza”. There should consequences for harmful innacurate statements like these.
