Bats, I remember getting in our 56 chevy and riding to Athens with Pop

to get our LL Bats from Hanna, Bet the whole teams bats wern't $50.

Around 1990, one of the biggest fires ever in Athens was when the Hanna...

...bat manufacturing plant went up in smoke. Guess there was a lot of sawdust in there.

I still have a few of their mini bats; good to keep in the car.

hit any better than the rest of us.

Bat, caught....quit hitting my LL players' bats.....

...when I dented their metal stuff up fooling around with some BP after practice. Quit after the second time...surprised no parent asked me to pay for it (I figured the bats most likely were under warranty).

$399 for a bat under any player under 16 years old is just wrong. Sad commentary on the state of that "youth" sport imo.
