Before we all start dog piling on Carson saying that he isn't Stetson, let's make sure we have an accurate picture of what the two had to work with. This is NOT a knock on Stetson.
Stetson had 3 first round talents at receiver in AD Mitchell, Brock, and Ladd. He also had Darnell who I would argue was our most valuable player on those teams. He also had a high first round pick at left tackle, a mid round pick at right, and a first round pick in Mims at right tackle. He also had a much better defense which was getting him more opportunities on offense.
Compare that with Carson.
Are any of our receivers going to be drafted before the fifth round? Are any of our linemen even going to be drafted? I won't even mention our tight end room. And our defense is much worse than either of the two that Stetson won championships with.
I don't think Stetson would be able to do much more than what Beck is doing right now.
