Bijan over Carter was absolutely not the right choice.

Bijan and Carter are both great but I can see your point that the DT is more important than the RB…
And by more important one is maybe the 2nd most important position in the NFL and the other is maybe last next to kickers (since FBs) are no longer a thing.
But I agree Bijan is good. But Carter, if he keeps his head on straight, will sign for $250-350 mil and Bijan will be lucky to get $50-60 mil.
If it wasn't for the accident he would have been a top 2-3 overall pick. I think he landed in the best place possible with his teammates for support. Some of the best leaders UGA has ever had are his NFL teammates. He needed to get away from Athens at the time. Imagine the AJC reporters constantly asking him about the accident, ect.

Matt Ryan turned out alright (and should have had Super Bowl) but point WELL taken. For every Matt Ryan there was a tak McKinley, Paria Jerry, Calvin Ridley, etc.

I just can’t see throwing shade on the Bijan Pick! He really is an outstanding back that can do it all! I loved to have had JC as well (and he was available). JC screwed him self out of a few spots in that years draft! The race thing was catastrophic, then he showed up to his workout fat and out of shape.
