Watch where the eyes go. People admire and respect a leader.Good leaders are humble & not self seeking!
People are always amazed by what a88h*les do to gain attention.Watch where the eyes go. People admire and respect a leader.
This came out just yesterday for the record, from Pew: (source: https://www.pewresearch.org/global/...rebounds-with-transition-from-trump-to-biden/)People are always amazed by what a88h*les do to gain attention.
Yes, they love it when the US agrees to a socialist agenda and globalization that gives them more access to US funds and resources, at the expense of Americans and without any concession from them. This came out just yesterday for the record, from Pew: (source: https://www.pewresearch.org/global/...rebounds-with-transition-from-trump-to-biden/)
These are, by and large, the world's democracies, huge trading partners, strategic and philosophical allies.Yes, they love it when the US agrees to a socialist agenda and globalization that gives them more access to US funds and resources, at the expense of Americans and without any concession from them.
The G-7 were certainly all giddy that Biden wants us to dump trillions into climate change, when we're the ones ahead of every world standard.
Regardless of how one feels about the issue, the real progress is to be had by other countries (like China and the Baltic nations) exercising a working commitment, and maybe trying to catch up with us.
There's a difference between respecting actual leadership that motivates people to action vs. liking the guy that always picks up the check.

Yes. All the more reason to lead them out of the weeds rather than getting mired in the same problems. These are, by and large, the world's democracies, huge trading partners, strategic and philosophical allies.
Zona, you come across as a reasonable guy much of the time, so it is interesting to me that you think that preening ball of narcissistic insecurity and his embarrassingly awkward push to the front of a group of world leaders is a good example of leadership. I get you love his policies or how he sticks it to the libs. I get all of that. But to say he is a great leader is hard to understand.
I see where you get that, but I also see the response of the others in the group to Trump. Very brief, but interesting.Zona, you come across as a reasonable guy much of the time, so it is interesting to me that you think that preening ball of narcissistic insecurity and his embarrassingly awkward push to the front of a group of world leaders is a good example of leadership. True Alphas aren't constantly complaining about how unfair everything is and playing the victim. They are too busy being productive in the world in which they live. They aren't blaming everybody else, they are leading by example.

Time may prove you correct, but six months in to an administration is a little early to judge the effectiveness of their foreign policy.I see where you get that, but I also see the response of the others in the group to Trump. Very brief, but interesting.
I also understand the mixed dynamic of those who would say they enjoyed the benefits of working with other US Presidents, versus how they respond to the guy that was more of a challenge and less generous.
The G7 politicians must certainly welcome one of their own as opposed to a boat rocker. However, Trump got demonstrably better results for our country in foreign policy.
I thought this might make both sides chuckle, party allegiance notwithstanding...
That sounds good and may generally be true. But I don’t think George Patton, Jack Welch, Tom Brady or Michael Jordan were meek and non-assuming.Good leaders are humble & not self seeking!
That's pretty rich. Biden & the Democrats literally have built their entire platform around complaining about how unfair everything is & playing- or making people & groups feel like- the victim. They push victimhood through identity politics and convince everyone who isn't a straight White Christian male that they are being held down & have no chance to succeed other than through the "generosity" and policies they champion. They literally preach to these people & groups that they should blame others for their failures or shortcomings. They don't champion personal responsibility or individual achievement. They are not true leaders, or "true alphas"- they don't actually even want to lead in the true sense of the word- they simply use those "below them" in their never-ending quest to accumulate power.True Alphas aren't constantly complaining about how unfair everything is and playing the victim. They are too busy being productive in the world in which they live. They aren't blaming everybody else, they are leading by example.

Would be even better if Kamala pushed Joe into the front row.I thought this might make both sides chuckle, party allegiance notwithstanding...

Obviously those countries had no confidence in Trump letting them slide on NATO dues and crappy trade deals. Obama and W bent over to those countries; Obama literally bowed and scraped. With the exception of 2 or 3, those countries are worn out and love a weak America and hate a strong America. Of course those countries had no confidence in Trump. He killed W’s NAFTA giveaway and Obama’s TPP proposed giveaway. He‘d still be negotiating more equitable deals with all those countries if you voters had not decided you were happier bent over to them. This came out just yesterday for the record, from Pew: (source: https://www.pewresearch.org/global/...rebounds-with-transition-from-trump-to-biden/)
Say what you will about bending over, but the world watched while Putin watched as Trump fellated Rocket Man. We all watched while Erdogan et al took a sh*t on our nation's capitol. etc.Obviously those countries had no confidence in Trump letting them slide on NATO dues and crappy trade deals. No, but the degree to which some can block out everything they don't want to see is on display. There's nothing conclusive to others about the voices in one's head.Say what you will about bending over, but the world watched while Putin watched as Trump fellated Rocket Man. The OP tried to suggest by posting a video that somehow our allies who were at the G7 had regard for Trump. I think that has been conclusively shown to be absurd.
That's rich, since you started this thread talking about "body language" and presuming to know by where their eyes go what G7 leaders thought of Trump. No, but the degree to which some can block out everything they don't want to see is on display. He's not the only one with arms crossed , if that is what you think looks bratty .That's rich, since you started this thread talking about "body language" and presuming to know by where their eyes go what G7 leaders thought of Trump.
Body language: like a bratty little schoolboy.
Abe never knew what to make of Trump. That video of their first meeting and epic 19 second handshake is a classic. He's not the only one with arms crossed , if that is what you think looks bratty .
