My friend, who had entered the building with his video camera and was filming the whole thing and was later informed he would be arrested for the crime of journalism was right beside Babbitt while she was on the stretcher. he was looking for a bathroom when she ended up right beside him. He talked with several Capital police and they seemed scared shitless, which I thought was weird but there were others around that were not scared and obviously knew what was going on. Somewhere in the upper floors DEA, ATF type agents were waiting and when the protesters got to a certain point, the heavily armed agents were released and cleared the area immediately.

Obvious question is why did the armed agents wait until the protesters got to the point they did to deploy. well one of the questions anyway.

Yes, he was recently arrested for the awful crime of journalism, let go, was offered a plea of a misdemeanor which he declined. Was glad he did after the election.
