There is a 99.9% chance that Mike White will be the University of Georgia head basketball coach next year and here’s the realty of it.
Josh Brooks and everyone else will deflect any accountability asked of White due to his contract and buy out (I’m not sure what it is). If we are given any reasoning which I doubt we will it will be we need to give him time. But here are the FACTS!
***We hire Mike White away from Florida and they become a top 5 program. This alone is proof he isn’t a good coach! But let’s continue.
-We have talent! We have a lottery pick and multiple 4 star recruits. Talent is not our problem.
- He is incapable of making in game adjustments and his play calling out of timeouts is something I’ve never seen. I guarantee we have about as many turnovers as we do successful plays out of timeouts. This is not something you “give time to”. Either you can coach or you can’t.
-I’m convinced Mike White would have coached the 15-16 Warriors and the 96-97 Bulls to a .500 record.
-What am I missing? Are you telling me that we don’t have the resources to get a top tier coach in here? Is Miss St, Ole Miss, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, and Missouri all more attractive than Georgia?
If I’m a donor I’m pulling all my money until this University starts taking this basketball program seriously.
