I’m planning on making a purchase of a car at the Lexus dealer in Memphis - as they don’t have the color/features I’m looking for anywhere in Georgia - and it would take 3 months to have it built and shipped to Atlanta.
I’m planning on driving the car I’m trading in to Memphis (already agreed with Dealer on trade-in price) and driving new car back to Atlanta. Anyone have any experience making an out of state car purchase? How do I handle sales tax, getting a Georgia license plate, etc? Thanks in advance.
