(Paraphrasing, he said that we will not win every play during the game; the other team has good players, too, and they will make some good plays during the game; that’s life in the SEC). What I’m saying, not CKS…..Some of our fans, the ones who boo at the end of the first half, need to take Kirby’s message to heart. Every game, even our big win over KY, has its ebbs and flows and momentum shifts. The winning team usually has more good plays than the losing team, but not always.
Some of our fans have gotten spoiled with all of the winning under Kirby and expect us to be totally dominant in every game. Our current team is very talented, but not as talented as the last two national championship teams. This team is not as dominant as those last two teams. This team, in all likelihood, will allow the opposition to make more big plays than our last two teams. But it’s very shortsighted to boo the team or the coaches at UGA. Think how this booing might influence a big time recruit at the game. Our fans need to be totally supportive and be as loud and disruptive as possible Saturday night in Sanford stadium. GO DAWGS!!
