Dabo claims it's due to 7 seniors coming back unexpectedly. He doesn't use the portal or if he does it's been sparsely used up there.
My biggest take away from their spring game was the lack of playmakers at the skilled positions, specifically WR, TE and RB depth. Will Shipley is very good, but he alone can't get them back to the CFP. Also, their OL looks to have issues and their QB still looks as sporadic as he did vs Tennessee.
It just feels as though he's losing his grip on running that program at an elite level. He needs to land a top 5 class this year to turn the momentum around. I hope Sammy Brown and his family are not all in with Dabo. Why on earth would he even be considering heading up there as opposed to playing LB for a Kirby coached program?
