Twice on our last offensive possession we snapped the ball with over 10 seconds on the play clock with the game clock running. That’s over 20 seconds. Could have avoided the whole risk of having to punt. And little thing but if we were willing to take the delay of game, why not do it the first time with the clock running and get it from 18 down to 17 seconds?
With all the analysts we have, those mistakes shouldn’t happen. Just a weird night all around. Plenty of player and coach mistakes. Even the message for the week, staff talked the players into a close game. I know it’s to not show much and get the guys better focused in the bye week for Bama but that was a lot of risk we didn’t need to take. Ugly all around.
