as frustrating as it is to us fans, I think the head man is making the right call jot releasing scrimmage stats and playing it vanilla regarding the qb race.

There is no doubt the coaches will make the final decision irregardless of what we the fans think, but things like stats kind make noise and cause distractions that simply wouldn't be productive for anyone.

Stats can be misleading without context. What if 1 qb had more yards passing, but 80 of them came off a bubble screen td. All we would see are the yards and the td, forget that he may have been less impressive with the rest of his day.

We are all desperate for info and for football generally. But this is way to big a decision to make with all kinds of meaningless noise coming from the press or the fans.
