We get very few easy shots, or open looks. How many times times this year have we fed the low post...almost never. And we don't try. You're not going to beat SEC defenses with what we are doing. Shooting poorly is one thing, but 29% and 11% is not just from poor shooting. It comes from forced shots late in the shotclock and not getting good looks.
Very poor games from Silas and RJ. Abson is still producing much better than RJ...play him. Somto and Montgomery didn't do much. James is non-existent They had ten blocks to our five. Leffew and Lawrence shot poorly. Our defense was pretty good, except for allowing 3-4 open 3s. We were outrebounded by a team that was ranked way below us in rebounding. Fifteen turnovers and too many were just lazy passes. Five assists?
As poorly as we played, we had a couple open 3s in the last five minutes that would have been big, but nada.
Bottomline is CMW has got to change some things up offensively.
