CMF did just about everything wrong imo, to get this one. Should have started the game in a zone, but we finally go to it after getting down 13 or so early. Get the lead and have it going our way. Then he comes back out mtm to start the second half and I think they go on a 7-0 run before he goes back to the zone. Add those two together and it's basically the game.
But, it doesn't stop there. Ogbiede and Yante are playing very well together the few minutes they are on the court together. Even the announcers pointed it out. Og is even doing ok from the ft line .But,CMF decides he wants HK in the ball game the last six minutes or so and it cost us bigtime. He had his hands on several rebounds and just let guys take them away. He misses layups and is abused in the lane. I don't blame HK. Hell Fox even inserted HK and KPG together late in the second half. Where does that leave us?
The players deserve their share as well. bad turnovers by our sr. guards at crunchtime and a really dumb foul by KG late on Moody. Yeah, it was a bs call, but you know you can't make contact with him at that point in the game. Put him on the line without even having to shoot. Poor ft shooting. Can we ever make two on one trip to the line.
Some more poor calls by the refs, especially the out of bounds call, which basically was the game. But, we put ourselves in position to let it hurt.
