So this is a bit of a rant. My wife and I both know this student. We have both taught her. She’s super smart, creative, and hard working. She got into UGA yesterday.
But let’s get to her father. There is no mother involved. Dad is a POS. He’s always refused to show up to important events. He would make her quit jobs or try to make her miss events (she’s a yearbook editor) because he wanted her to do whatever. Well he is now refusing to do a Fafsa so she can get grants and some other financial aid.
Like how shitty of a parent do you have to be to not want your girl to succeed and go to college especially UGA? For the third time I will be calling him to talk some sense into this waste of space .
UGA can save her from poverty and his horrible ass doesn’t want it for her. Gah
