I still don't understand MW's rotations most of the time. Cyril was playing great and we pull him for James.
10 second violation vs a man press, allowing their best player an uncontested coast to coast layup off a made basket. These are things that just shouldn’t happen at this level. Not going to beat good teams like that and unfortunately for us, most our remaining schedule is good teams.
Unfortunately Montgomery isn’t an SEC caliber player. Not skilled enough to be a guard. That was a momentum killer needing to make up ground off a great defensive possession.

Our guards have been beyond bad today. Montgomery god awful, blue are you going to show today? Silas can’t throw it in the ocean. Obviously our defense has been bad too but if those 3 don’t get going this team is not going to ncaa tourney.

I think it is a must win. Lose at home and go 4-7 with Au, UF, TAM, Mizzou, Tex on road amd a good Vandy team. Just don’t see 4 wins if we lose tonight. .

After a 3 turnover first half, Montgomery comes in and immediately shoots a terrible shot then gets lost on D and gives up and and 1. He really kills us

Him and Cyril are liabilities especially when they’re on the court together.
Every time we make a run we give up consecutive wide open shots. And if Cyril commits to an offseason of skill work he could be so good. But right now he’s a poor finisher, passer and FT shooter and it hurts us.
