Looking at Dash's depth chart and the roster have we evolved from base 3-4 to a base 3-3-5, with Star replacing a second OLB?
I can remember in the past when it seemed we had two separate OLB positions, with Leonard Floyd and Jordan Jenkins, and more recently with Nolan Smith and Robert Beal. Now we only list one full-time OLB position, Chaz. Doesn't Damon Wilson technically play a different OLB type position, one more oriented to pass rush than taking on blockers/setting the edge?
Appreciate any insight from the more technical/alignment oriented football heads.
