Well, your point is absurd. For a few decades now, probably since Reagan left, a big portion of the Pub base has been ignored by the "new world order" Pubs and really had no viable alternative than to vote for the McConnell, McCain, Boehner and Paul Ryan Pubs. Pubs that gave lip service to limited government but fought like paper tigers if they even fought for the things the base believed. It has NOTHING to do with any personal love for Trump.

So, you claim to be a supporter of lower taxes, a sane immigration policy, less regs, and on and on and those are the policies DJT endorsed and fought for as POTUS. Yeah, he pissed off some allies but those allies also needed a wake up call in terms of support for NATO and doing business with the enemy we were paying to protect them from etc. Iows, those of us that wouldn't piss on McConnell if he were on fire don't really see McConnell as one of the good guys. He's just another corrupt statist pol that sits on the side of the aisle that we feel like we've had no choice but to support.

It would be nice if Dems would actually consider throwing some of their career pols out of the boat instead of engaging in inane hypocrisy.
