We've had many posts of people losing dogs and seeking dogs recently and over the years (lost one in November, getting a puppy in February).

I figured it would be interesting to see what diets folks use for their dogs.

Interested in both good and bad experiences with kibble, raw, and home cooked meals.

My dog is on Hill's Science Adult Perfect Weight. She's been trying to drop pounds the last couple of years so we tried reducing portions of her previous food (Pro Plan Adult Large Breed) as well as the Hill's Senior Large Breed, but neither really dropped pounds with minimal portions for her desired weight.

However, the Perfect Weight did result in her losing 4 lbs at her most recent vet visit so I guess it works. I'm sure she gained it all back during the holidays after being spoiled by my wife and guests since she became the only dog.

Anyway, getting ready for a new pup and trying to map out a diet plan. Unlike the 3 males who had various skin allergies, my female hasn't shown any, just a more sensitive stomach than the males. So we're open to a variety of options.
